Improve your Japanese reading skills with Ryūnosuke Akutagawa's masterpiece, 'The Spider's Thread' (Kumo no Ito). This app offers a side-by-side bilingual reading experience in Japanese and English, designed to help you acquire advanced vocabulary and understand authentic literary grammar in context. Follow the gripping tale of Kandata, a wicked sinner suffering in Hell, who is offered a single chance at salvation when the Buddha lowers a fragile spider's thread from Paradise. Ideal for intermediate to advanced learners (JLPT N3-N2), this app bridges the gap between textbooks and native literature with built-in furigana, romaji, and interactive reading aids.
