How does Retro Ping work? * It pings every 0.25 seconds (woah). * A ping is the round trip time to a remote host and back, in milliseconds. * It will not cause bandwidth issues. A ping uses almost no network resources. * Default target is Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), which is close to you almost anywhere (200+ cities). You can point it at something else in Settings. * If ICMP is blocked, it falls back to TCP/443 and shows · TCP. Your router hop never cheats with TCP, because a lot of routers just don't answer pings — that's ROUTER QUIET, not "Wi-Fi is dead."
