Pentatronics 1000 vs Momentous Clock

Pentatronics 1000 is a faithful re-creation of the legendary gaming calculator, one of the most exciting calculators of its era. Pentatronics 1000 introduced many novelties such as the iconic "READY" message that has been adopted by virtually every calculator ever since. Today we take for granted that a calculator should have at least one game, but this was again an innovation brought by Pentatronics. Pentatronics creators believed that life shouldn't be just about math and logic. Fun, style, and humor were every bit as important. Unfortunately, today these calculators are impossible to find except in the hands of a few lucky collectors. We are honored to bring this rare calculator to your mobile device. We would like to thank all the people who helped us during the development of this app, especially Edwin J. Gallaghan from the original Pentatronics 1000 development team. Without Edwin's expertise and warm encouragement, we couldn't have completed this project. For feedback, contact us at pentatronics1000@gmail.com.

Time isn’t just 6:31. It’s 631 - a prime! A lucky prime... It’s the combination to the bike lock you had as a kid. It might be the last digits of the cell phone of someone you love. This is a clock for people who notice things like that. Every minute, it: • Computes mathematical properties of the current time • Surfaces number theory facts (prime, factorization, powers, sequences, curiosities) • Scrambles them onto glowing 16-segment LED displays, like your old Speak 'n Spell • Optionally finds personal number connections in your contacts — entirely on device Works great as a Mac app via Catalyst. Contact matching happens entirely on device. No personal data is ever transmitted. Usage analytics (anonymous) are collected to improve the app. If you’ve ever factored timestamps in your head, smiled at 5:12 = 2⁹, or paused at 17:29… This is the clock for you. Make every minute momentous.
