Fully free to use — no subscriptions or hidden costs. Conversion Buddy is an everyday unit converter designed to do more than give you a number. It combines accurate conversions with memorable examples, practical reference tables and simple explanations, helping unfamiliar measurements make sense. CONVERT EVERYDAY UNITS Enter one value and instantly see useful equivalents for temperature, distance, height, weight, speed, area, volume, cooking, fuel economy, tyre/tire pressure and more. UNDERSTAND WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN Use familiar everyday examples to make unfamiliar measurements easier to picture — such as 20°C = 68°F, 30 mph ≈ 48 km/h and 180 cm ≈ 5 ft 11 in. USE PRACTICAL REFERENCE TABLES Start with the units you recognise and switch direction whenever you need to. Compare centimetres and feet, kilograms and pounds, kilometres and miles, mph and km/h, bar and psi, square metres and square feet, litres and pints, and more. Each table uses clear, rounded starting values so it works as a quick reference rather than just another calculator. SAVE YOUR OWN VALUES Keep useful personal references in My Data, including heights, baggage allowances, tyre/tire pressures, room sizes, cooking measurements and other values you use regularly. Add a name, group and notes, and pin important values for quick access. CHOOSE THE UNITS THAT FEEL FAMILIAR Choose UK Mixed, USA or Metric preferences so Conversion Buddy starts with units that make sense where you live or travel. EXPLORE THE STORIES BEHIND MEASUREMENTS Discover why 5 ft 4 in is not 5.4 ft, why UK and US pints are different, why lower L/100 km means better fuel economy, and why horses are measured in hands. SIMPLE BY DESIGN • No account required • Core conversion tools work offline • Designed natively for iPhone • Saved values are stored locally on your device • Fully free to use — no subscriptions or hidden costs* *Small adverts are shown to help support development and keep Conversion Buddy free.
