When developing Forma, I paid special attention to minimalism. As a result, I got a fully functional workout tracker, which works completely offline and has no extra functions at all. The interface is so intuitive that it is impossible to get lost. I’ve honestly tried my best to make it nice & simple! The app is great for both gym and at home workout, because the list of exercises is created by you. Instead of hundreds of preset workout programs (invented by nobody knows who), you form your own database - leave only what is important for you personally. ‣ Create any exercise: from yoga to strength training. ‣ Customize them: workout with dumbbells, barbells or with your own weight. ‣ Log your results in a few clicks. ‣ Keep track of your progress: stay toned, gain or lose weight. Together with other users who regularly write great reviews, we strive to keep the app simple. As a result, as many superfluous elements as possible have been eliminated from the app, but functionality has been retained. However, if you do miss something, you can always contact me directly from the app and I will try to implement your ideas. The only limitation of the free version is the maximum amount of 8 workouts. You can ignore this limit by deleting old workouts, or remove the restriction completely with a premium subscription at a reasonable price. This kind of support, as well as honest feedback, helps me grow the project. I promise, I do not and will not have any advertising and unnecessary purchases. Everything is extremely transparent. I am using it myself, so I do not want to make another Frankenstein out of the app. Policy: http://gymtracker.tilda.ws/privacy-policy Terms and Conditions: http://gymtracker.tilda.ws/terms-of-use Thank you for reading to the end, so it was not in vain!
Aquena
Read full descriptionHide full description
Aquena is a water log that fits your day: one tap to record a glass, and that's it. A GOAL THAT STARTS WITH YOU Aquena suggests a daily goal worked out from general public references (EFSA and IOM). Would rather set it yourself? The manual goal is one tap away. MEASURES YOU RECOGNISE Ready measures, each with its own silhouette, always in order of volume. The four you use most sit on the home screen. Need a specific amount? Type it — that's free. TAPPED THE WRONG ONE? UNDO The wrong entry is the most common mistake in an app like this. So undo shows up right after every tap. YOUR HISTORY, DAY BY DAY A streak of days you hit the goal, a daily history, and counters that don't get lost. OPTIONAL LEADERBOARD A daily board, scored by percentage of your goal and capped at 100%. THREE LANGUAGES, TWO UNIT SYSTEMS English, Portuguese and Spanish. Millilitres and litres, or fluid ounces. ABOUT THE GOAL Aquena's calculation is an estimate based on general recommendations and does not replace professional assessment. Consult a doctor or dietitian to define your real hydration needs, especially in case of kidney, heart or liver conditions, pregnancy or use of medication.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Aquena at every 2 days against Forma's weekly. Aquena also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forma sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Aquena sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Forma ships an update weekly, Aquena every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
