Lucky Ludo is the nostalgic family and friends Ludo board game that you can play with online competitors. Play against random opponents or invite friends in for custom matches. You can even play offline against bots or in co-op mode with another friend by your side. With regular updates and new features, Lucky Ludo: Online Board Game keeps the excitement fresh. Access the latest in Ludo gaming everywhere! Lodo board games have a special place in our hearts since we shared bitter sweet moments with our loved ones back in the day. Now, it might be harder to organize a board game night but how about hitting your friends up for a quick 20 minute Ludo online dice game match? Lucky Ludo is the best way to make that online Ludo PvP happen. Ludo is a popular dice game across the board that’s known to many people by the various names of Mensch, Sorry! Parcheesi, petits chevaux,لودو, лудо. Set in a cross and circle format where your aim is to travel in a clockwise circle and line up your 4 tokens or pegs in their own color slot. Lodo’s rules are simple: roll a 6 dice to put a peg on the map and run across the field. But watch out, this isn’t a simple game of chance. While luck certainly does play a role in letting you put your first buck on the field it’s not the whole game. Join thousands of players already enjoying the thrills of Lucky Ludo: Online Board Game. Whether you're looking for casual fun, finger tapping thrills, or just a chance to unwind with friends, Lucky Ludo has something for everyone. Download ludo game now and start rolling the dice in the ultimate Ludo adventure! You need to make strategic and tactical choices on entering more Ludo pegs if you roll a six again or to continue your path to reach the home area. Along the way, if you’re lucky, you’ll roll the exact dice needed to take out an opponent’s lodo peg. But be careful, your opponent can do the same to you. It’s why in the German version the name of the board game translates to “Man, Don’t Get Angry” because of the sheer frustration of having to roll a 6 to move your piece again. Hopefully, you won’t encounter any rage quitters in your online pvp ludo matches but even if you do, take that in good spirits as the game’s german name suggests. In Lucky Ludo you’re also able to communicate with the other 3 players using pre-written message prompt buttons to show reactions to the situation or get a rise out of them. There are some helpful tips to consider as the Ludo master if you want to enter the Ludo club hall of fame, the obvious one is having at least two pegs active on the field at a time but the most critical tip is keeping an eye on options to take out your opponent’s pieces when the opportunity comes. Lastly, when you reach the home area, you need to make a prediction on your luck since to enter the 4 slot home area, you need the exact roll for that slot so position your lodo pegs accordingly so that you’re not stuck with your last peg waiting for a 6 or 1 dice roll. Key features: - Multiplayer 2-4 players, offline and online - Playing offline with bots or friends on one device - Chat during the game with friends - Customizable dice patterns and pieces with unique frames and symbols - Daily login rewards with a spin wheel - Compete on a grand level with the ludo star leaderboard At the heart of Lucky Ludo lies the classic game of Ludo, beloved by millions for its simplicity. Roll the dice, move your pieces strategically, and race to be the first to reach the center of the board – but beware of your opponents' cunning moves and unexpected twists of fate! It’s time to get back to the old classic games but with the same people you used to enjoy playing лудо board games with. If you’re also a Ludo champ, then try to compete with random online players to show off your luck and decision making. Lucky Ludo is a fast paced dice board game, toss that dice and best of Ludo!

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Zoopolis at 4.5 against Lucky Ludo's 4.1. Zoopolis also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Lucky Ludo's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 31%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Zoopolis sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Lucky Ludo sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Zoopolis holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 339 and 1.6K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Zoopolis's written reviews are positive against 49% of Lucky Ludo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Zoopolis ships an update every 2 months, Lucky Ludo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
