Math Copilot Number Line vs Universal Numbers

Math Copilot Number Line is built for kids aged 3-8 who are just getting comfortable with numbers, counting and basic arithmetic. Rather than another lesson program, this is a copilot: a utility that they can have on hand when doing homework or other math activities. It allows kids to: - scroll up or down a number line indefinitely, without the space limitations of paper number lines - pinch or zoom to change the scale of the number line, from small decimals to enormous numbers - perform basic arithmetic by directly interacting with the numbers and seeing intermediate results - "play back" the addition and subtracting to make it even clearer what is going on - make changes to calculations via drag and drop, to help see how reordering terms and moving them to the other side of the equation changes what happens on the number line - highlight odds, evens and do skip counting - just play with numbers at a wide range of scales via direct manipulation, in order to better develop an internal mathematical model Don't print out any more number lines. Give your kids a way to feel and explore numbers, giving them a great foundation for later learning.

We believe numbers aren't hard — they just need to be seen the right way. That's why we built Universal Numbers: a simple visual tool that helps children and language learners truly understand numbers, not just recite them. When kids can see a number, hear it, and feel how it breaks apart, the concept clicks. FOR YOUNG LEARNERS: Most children memorize number sequences without ever grasping what they mean. Universal Numbers changes that by making the structure of numbers visible — place values in color, quantities at a glance, and the logic of big numbers made obvious. From 0 to 1,000,000, on a number line they can scroll and zoom themselves. No pressure. No wrong answers. Just numbers that finally make sense. FOR LANGUAGE LEARNERS: Counting in a new language is one of the last things that feels truly automatic. Practice numbers in English, Spanish, or French — or any of 40+ languages and dialects available — at whatever pace you choose. HOW IT WORKS: • Scroll the number line to explore • Tap any number to hear it pronounced • Zoom in or out to count by 5, 10, 100, or more • Search for any specific number instantly • Choose your language and Apple system voice RANGE: 0 to 1,000,000 LANGUAGES FOR PRACTICE: Explore how numbers are spelled, written, and pronounced in dozens of languages and dialects — without changing your device language. In some, even the numerals look different. Pronunciation plays wherever your device has a matching voice installed, and the language list keeps growing as Apple adds support. PRIVACY: No ads.
