Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Forte at 44 against Habi's 2. Forte also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Habi's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 67%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forte sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Habi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Forte against 4.5 for Habi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forte has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Forte's written reviews are positive against 75% of Habi's.
Forte ships an update every 2 weeks, Habi every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
