Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: GETTRONIX at every 10 days against SIMDI Online's monthly. SIMDI Online's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SIMDI Online against 5.0 for GETTRONIX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIMDI Online has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
SIMDI Online ships an update monthly, GETTRONIX every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
