How Spectro.Life Enhances Race Performance: By focusing on lowering their performance drop during a an ultra, runners can strategically allocate their resources, conserving energy at the beginning and unleashing their full potential towards the end of the race. This innovative approach is poised to revolutionise ultra-running by helping athletes achieve faster overall race times. Key Features: 1. Steady Effort Race Planning: The app creates a steady effort race plan tailored to individual runner profiles, taking into account their abilities on uphills and downhills. Users can configure a performance drop to achieve their desired race time. 2. Real-time Race Tracking: Unlike other GPS tracking apps, our app excels in tracking GPS for extended periods, making it feasible for runners with medium capabilities and phones with good batteries to complete a 100-mile race without the need for recharging. Once the runner reaches the start zone and arms Spectro.Life, the phone can be packed away and kept in the pocket for the full race. The app detects exit from the start zone and keeps sending race tempo notifications to the runner's watch when connected to the phone. 3. Performance Drop Calculation: The app calculates the performance drop during the race, providing valuable insights for better planning future races and setting realistic objectives based on the runner's abilities. 4. Trial Runs and Track Uploads: Runners can upload their own tracks and conduct trial runs, particularly during weekend long runs. These tracks include a slope distribution chart, allowing runners to compare the specificity of their trial runs against the upcoming race, aiding in preparation and goal-setting. 5. Accelerated Race Tempo: To prevent common mistakes at the race's outset, an accelerated race tempo feature has been introduced. This provides more frequent race tempo notifications at the beginning, gradually easing into a less disturbing notification schedule as the race progresses.

The COMPASS orienteering app lets you easily use pre-defined O-maps and courses or create your own with minimal effort. Whether you want to practice orienteering skills or take part in custom events, COMPASS provides a flexible and user-friendly solution. The app is designed especially for schools (e.g., physical education classes) and orienteering clubs. It supports GPS-based control points for simple setup without placing controls in the field—ideal for training sessions—as well as QR code control points for more formal or competitive events.
