Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: glinet at none against Avomote's 3. glinet also leads on rating (3.5 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Avomote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. glinet asks for nothing beyond the download.
glinet holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: glinet has 23 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Avomote's written reviews are positive against 38% of glinet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Avomote ships an update every 6 months, glinet every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
