Quick and Easy ECC vs EDA PLAY TOM

Quick and Easy Expanded Core Curriculum is designed for transition students who are visually impaired. The included lessons were chosen to address the most common gaps found within this population and require little time, expertise, or equipment to implement by the educational team and family members. The lessons, categorized by setting, category, needed items, and ECC area addressed, are intentionally designed to be completed in 5-15 minutes. They are not designed to replace a comprehensive program addressing the ECC. This app version is a new format of the current product, made for convenience and portability. Example ECC lessons target the following skills: * Planning a menu * Practicing conversation * Giving and receiving compliments * Labeling cans and frozen foods * Making purchases based on a budget * Expanding career knowledge * Tracking medical history * Spreading condiments * Reading nutrition labels * Properly using smartphones * Learning customer service techniques

ATTRACTIVE SOUND DESIGN AND ANIMATIONS - Interesting sound and animations capture visual attention. WHITE FRAME can be set to distinctively demarcate the work surface of the tablet display. The SKILLS SECTION records the work of the child with the app. The SIMULATOR OF VISUAL DISORDERS enables adults to better understand how complicated the world is for children with visual disorders. The app was developed in cooperation with low vision specialists and experts in the field of early intervention. The authorship of the EDA PLAY TOM app belongs to the non-profit organization EDA cz, z.ú. and to the digital studio Sugar And Ketchup.
