Blank page to finished book, in one studio. Wayscript is a desktop-class writing studio for novelists, whether it's your first book or tenth. Draft, plan, and build your world, all in one powerful writing tool that syncs across your Mac, iPhone and iPad. The full studio is free on your own device. No account. Your manuscript stays private and local until you choose otherwise. WRITE A distraction-free editor that knows your story. Characters, places and items highlight and link themselves as you type. Spell-check learns the invented names in your world. Focus mode, continuous scroll, timed sprints and goals keep the words coming, with scene snapshots and version rollback whenever you need to step back. PLAN See the whole book at a glance. Drag scene cards on the corkboard, fold the outline, and follow color-coded narrative threads through a story timeline that flags chronology conflicts. Your plan and your manuscript stay in sync, always. WORLDBUILD A story bible that links itself. Keep characters, places and items with covers, galleries and custom sections. Automatic backlinks show where each one appears. A link graph and relationships canvas map how everything connects. Attach research to any entity so your facts stay straight. ANALYZE Catch the cracks before your editor does. See POV distribution, thread balance and a character-presence heatmap. Prose reports surface echoes, overused words, adverbs, passive voice and overlong sentences. Every chart is computed from your own text, with no AI at all. REVIEWER When you want feedback, the Reviewer reads like an attentive editor: specific, diagnostic and opt-in. Ask about pacing and weak verbs, check a scene against your plan, or request a structural read that catches dropped threads and character drift. It knows your story bible. It points at problems. It never writes your prose. CERTIFICATION We believe that human authorship is essential in literary content. Earn an authorship mark from Bronze up to Onyx. Onyx means not a single word came from a machine. Wayscript is built to make that provable. Because the Reviewer only critiques, using it keeps you at Diamond or higher. Share tamper-evident proof with agents, contests and readers. WHERE WE STAND ON AI We believe AI has no place in art. Wayscript's tools exist to help you write, keep your world consistent and prove the work is yours. Analytics are computed from your own text with no AI. AI is used only where you opt in: critique you explicitly request, and research support. FREE, AND YOURS - Full editor, planning and story bible - Unlimited books and projects - Export to Markdown, DOCX, EPUB and PDF - Fully local and private UPGRADE WHEN YOU'RE READY Author adds cloud sync and backups, manuscript analysis and reports, advanced typeset export, monthly passage diagnostics and community clubs and sprints.
