Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Television Spain at 4.7 against TDTChannels's 3.6. Television Spain also leads on ratings volume (342 vs 9) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). TDTChannels's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Television Spain sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. TDTChannels asks for nothing beyond the download.
Television Spain holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Television Spain has 342 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of TDTChannels's written reviews are positive against 35% of Television Spain's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
TDTChannels ships an update every 2 months, Television Spain every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
