BikingBuds - an app specialized in making group biking safer Check out a few of the main features: - View the real-time location of all your group members - Fall detection that alerts the entire group when a fall has occurred. - See when a rider's location was last updated (in case they lose internet connection at some point) - Ability to mark yourself as a rider or non-rider, in case you only want to track someone's ride without sharing your location. - All phone numbers are in one place, making it easy to call group members - Create and join groups quickly - Send announcements to your entire group - Overlay a route onto the map for your group to follow BikingBuds aims to make biking safer. As a biker myself, I've noticed a lot of issues with riding in groups. The main one is that it's way too hard to know where everyone is. Some people are faster bikers and some are slower, so it's always helpful to know where your group is. Some of the main ways to use BikingBuds: - A group of students who want to bike to school. Their parents are able to join the group, set themselves as a non-rider, and make sure that their child is safe while getting a notification if their child has fallen. - A big group of bikers who are doing a long ride and need to know where their group members are, along with an easy way to call all of them + their emergency contacts We respect your privacy! We don't sell location data with third-party companies. Disclaimer: Continued usage of location services while the app is in the background can drain battery rapidly.
