In addition to providing professional competences, the university also considers it a key priority to provide students with modern services that support all aspects of campus life. The basic version of this application, prepared by taking the opinions of 2,500 students into consideration, has the following major functions: Integration with the Neptun system, which allows for the displaying of courses for which the student has registered, the timetable and examinations schedule, with the latter also synchronized into the calendar of the mobile device, keeping track of the balance of the omnibus account, and so forth. Providing other up-to-date information closely linked with studies, including data on the programme(s) registered for, the current academic calendar, contact information for the registrar’s office, and fellowship opportunities. An optional “mood report” function allows students to indicate their daily and current mood. This function features a “gift box”, which can be opened in exchange for providing this information. Hidden inside may be some good music, a witty quotation, or an entertaining video. After providing a certain number of mood reports, the student also receives unique, university gift items. In addition to its major academic functions, the application may also provide other types of information in support of everyday student life. Among others these include, university news and events, data and information related to persons or venues closely linked to campus life, opportunities related to the cultural and sports life of the university and the city of Debrecen. The application is also capable of being integrated with other university information systems. The current version of the application is considered a basic-level development. About

ArtBook

The Artbook digital fine art album presents the art of painter Tibor Kádár through his biography, more than 120 images of his works and a study of János Géczi. The arc of the artistic career of painter Tibor Kádár (1946 – 2021) is similar to a circle. The motifs and themes that were so defining at his start appear in his works more than forty years later as well, they return again and again, thereby suggesting a kind of completeness, which also includes the path he traveled in his art: from realist representation to abstract, and then back to figurative art. The ArtBook fine art album is a digital book: it consists of chapters and it is as readable as the traditional books. You can turn pages back and forth using the well known gestures. The technology allows to see the objects from multiple view points of one’s interest and to open the images in full screen size. The catalogue of the works can be filtered in a user-friendly way by different criteria, contracting the book, showing the images of the selected works only.
