Verdict
Synology Secure SignIn and Split Flap both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Split Flap's written reviews are positive against 47% of Synology Secure SignIn's. Split Flap also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 6 months). Synology Secure SignIn's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (9K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
