With your support we will find out, whether the find really is a ghost net! Dive at the location and verify the position. With this important information, the recovery of lost fishing gear can be optimally prepared and the nets recovered by specially trained divers. You have discovered a ghost net yourself? Report your find in the GhostDiver app and thereby make it accessible to our recovery divers. HOW THE APP WORKS: The app shows you potential ghost net locations on a map. These points were determined using a sonar device, which maps the seafloor. Save interesting points in the app and use the route function to plan your next dive. The routes can be exported as .gpx files. The app provides you with the exact position, a calculated dive depth, and the sonar image, so you are perfectly prepared for your dive. Use the report function to share your own finds. In the profile section you can learn everything about the WWF mission and the technology employed.
