Echo Chamber vs Seddit

Echo Chamber is a text-to-speech (TTS) app that turns Reddit into an audio experience. Your favorite subreddits can now be read aloud to you using the TTS voices on your iPhone. Navigating through thread replies is simple with a swipe. The voices are customizable, with options for rate of speech, pitch, and volume (you can have some fun here). Pick your favorite voice or select multiple voices to keep the posts fresh as they are read to you. The app can be used with Bluetooth controls, so you can listen to Echo Chamber while you go about your day.

With Seddit you can continuously listen to posts and comments from your favourite subreddits for as long as you like using your preferred text-to-speech voices. Load some posts from URLs or subreddits, and then just press play and sit back and listen. Posts and comments by different users can be spoken with different voices. You can configure Seddit to automatically load more posts when it's running out of things to speak so that you can keep listening non-stop… or you can set up the sleep timer so it will stop reading after a certain amount of time. If you use VoiceOver, Seddit can use your VoiceOver settings to speak.  Seddit supports AirPlay, as well as playback controls on your headphones, phone's lock screen, and so on, just as you'd expect from any audio app. The posts you've loaded into Seddit will be synced across all your devices using your iCloud account. No internet connection is needed to read — only to load the posts in the first place. No Reddit signin is needed.
