Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Cycle at free against Mini Bike Computer's free with in-app purchases. Cycle also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (96% vs 80%). Mini Bike Computer's advantage is ratings volume (215 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cycle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mini Bike Computer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Cycle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mini Bike Computer has 215 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of Cycle's written reviews are positive against 80% of Mini Bike Computer's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
