Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: écoute at 100% against Qudelix's 69%. Qudelix's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Qudelix holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Qudelix has 84 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Qudelix's written reviews are positive against 100% of écoute's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Qudelix ships an update every 3 weeks, écoute every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
