WinkNotes is an app for making flashcards and planning reviews. Use it for class notes, vocabulary, and practice questions, or import existing materials from PDF, Anki, or CSV files. Note cards have a front and back for questions and answers. Add text and images, or hide key text and parts of an image to test your recall before revealing the answer. You can also make vocabulary and multiple-choice cards and organize cards into categories. Sign in to WinkNotes AI with your Apple Account to use AI features. When creating a card, take or pick a photo (on Mac, choose an image from Photos or Files), and AI generates note cards automatically, with the original image attached to the back. On iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, you can also use Shortcuts to turn screenshots or images into cards. If your iPhone has an Action button, you can set it up to start card creation. Premium Voice reads Chinese and English cards aloud in more natural voices, with several voices to choose from. More languages and voices are on the way. AI card creation and Premium Voice use credits, which you can buy in the app. PRO members can claim gift credits. On a Mac running macOS 15 or later, you can connect an AI assistant that supports MCP to help create and organize cards. The app schedules new cards and reviews using a review plan. Mark whether you remembered or forgot, and it uses that feedback to schedule later reviews. Choose a category or filter your cards when you want to review just part of a deck. Each deck has statistics showing new, studying, and memorized cards, review streaks, and upcoming reviews. PRO stats also show overdue and often-forgotten cards, retention, and recent review records. WinkNotes has previously appeared in App Store editorial selections for new apps and weekly editor recommendations. It was also included in features explaining what flashcards are and how to use them, and in a collection of study tools for Mac. Apple's official WeChat account has also covered WinkNotes' learning and note-taking features. WinkNotes runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Basic card creation, review, and stats are free, with limits on decks and some features. PRO includes iCloud sync, unlimited decks and cards, custom review plans, quick cloze tools, and advanced stats. See the app for current benefits. AnjiCard is a sharp sword for learners. At present, only a few people learn it. In the exam, if one person has mastered the learning method of using AnjiCard, it will be a great injustice to others. It is a competition between fist and machine gun.
AnjiCard is not only a learning tool, but also an external embodiment of a learning method ahead of the times. If you want to spend the same time and want to surpass most people, AnjiCard, you should understand!
What exactly is AnjiCard? AnjiCard is introduced in many places as a memory aid tool. Such introduction is unattractive and does not reflect the real value of AnjiCard.
I prefer to introduce it to others. AnjiCard is a learning tool to help you scientifically use your brain to remember all information. Compared with traditional learning methods, it does not improve the learning effect by 10% or 20%, but several times.
[as an ordinary person, what effect does AnjiCard have on me?] 1. Effectively improve test scores and apply to all tests 2. Improve learning quality and take the initiative to find weak knowledge points 3. Learning algorithms bring efficiency changes and reduce time waste 4. Focus more on the learning process and reduce the number of distractions 5. Multi terminal, learning anytime, anywhere 6. Knowledge will be remembered for life and will not be forgotten after learning [what can AnjiCard be used to learn?] If you ask me, AnjiCard is suitable for learning that knowledge, my answer is "almost everything". -Learning English with AnjiCard -Using AnjiCard to cope with the college entrance examination -Using AnjiCard to deal with postgraduate entrance examination -Learning mathematics with AnjiCard -Learning programming with AnjiCard -Study law with AnjiCard -Learning Chinese with AnjiCard -Learn to drive with AnjiCard -Learning medicine with AnjiCard -Almost everything you can think of can be learned with AnjiCard...
Because no matter what knowledge you learn, you almost need to learn by remembering the knowledge points. When you finish reading books and listening to classes, these knowledge is only short-term memory in your brain. The short-term memory can only last for a few minutes. When you need examination, expression and application, you can't retrieve and use the learned knowledge from your brain.
If you want to better test taking and application, you need to change the learned knowledge from short-term memory to long-term memory, so that you can call it quickly when needed, and AnjiCard was born to solve this problem. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: WinkNotes at freemium against AnjiCard's subscription. WinkNotes also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 47%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). AnjiCard's advantage is ratings volume (757 vs 129). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
