Both are free to download. Merlino’s MBLEx Test Prep sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. MEMOedu Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.
Merlino’s MBLEx Test Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Merlino’s MBLEx Test Prep has 97 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MEMOedu Mobile's written reviews are positive against 95% of Merlino’s MBLEx Test Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MEMOedu Mobile ships an update every 5 weeks, Merlino’s MBLEx Test Prep every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
