Potly is a simple, no-nonsense app for keeping your houseplants alive — track when each plant was last watered, get reminded exactly when it needs water again, and watch it grow over time with photos. WATERING, ON YOUR SCHEDULE Set a custom watering interval for each plant — by days or by hours, so it works whether you're watering weekly or checking on a thirsty seedling daily. Potly shows you at a glance which plants are overdue, due soon, or healthy, sorted automatically by what needs attention first. SMART DEFAULTS, NO GUESSWORK Typing a common houseplant's name (Monstera, Pothos, Snake Plant, and dozens more) suggests a sensible watering interval to start from, so you're not guessing on day one. REAL-TIME REMINDERS Potly sends a notification the moment a plant actually becomes due for water — not just a generic daily check-in — so you find out when it matters. GROWTH PHOTOS & TIMELAPSE Snap a photo each time you check on a plant, and Potly builds a running photo history automatically. Once you've got two or more photos, play them back as an in-app timelapse with adjustable speed, and share a before-and-after growth card straight to your camera roll or social apps. BEYOND WATERING Turn on an optional fertilizing reminder for any plant, tracked separately from watering with its own schedule. ORGANIZE BY ROOM Got plants in more than one room? Give them a location and Potly groups your home screen by room automatically. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything is stored locally on your device — no account, no sign-up, no cloud sync. Your plant data stays yours. Potly is free to use, supported by ads.
