Geophysics made easy vs CloudLabs Earth Structure

Discover the fascinating world of Geophysics, and how this science works in the search of accurate information about the Earth and other bodies in the Solar System. You will be surprised by the scope and applications of geophysical methods in the investigation of the Earth's structure, in the search for oil and minerals, in the search and assessment of groundwater contamination, and even in the determination of physical parameters of the Moon, Mars and of asteroids. The application describes, in a simple way and with a lot of beautiful illustrations, some of the main geophysical methods and their applications, explaining how we can determine the physical parameters of the interior of the planet using information from its gravity field, current and past magnetic field, heat flow, response to the propagation of natural and artificial seismic waves, and its behavior when subjected to an electric field or electromagnetic waves, for example. You will also find information about the career of geophysicist and the Brazilian institutions that offer the Bachelor of Geophysics course. Use it and disseminate it to people who want more information about this area of activity and the profession. The application was developed with the support of CNPq, Universal Public Call 1/2016, Process 404451 / 2016-0, to whom we thank. Our acknowledgment also to Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (IAG-USP). Developed for the following devices, running the iOS 12.4 or higher operating system: - iPhone 5S, 6 / 6Plus, 6s / 6sPlus, 7 / 7Plus, 8 / 8Plus, X, XS / XS Max, XR, 11, 11Pro / 11Pro Max, SE 2nd generation. - Ipod Touch 6th and 7th generation. - Ipad 5th, 6th and 7th generation; Ipad Air, iPad Air2 and Ipad Air 3rd generation; iPad mini 2, 3, 4 and 5th generation; Ipad Pro, all specifications. In this simulation, you will be given a holoprojector which will allow you to observe the six layers of the Earth and measure their properties, including depth, temperature, density and pressure. You will also be able to observe the five layers of the atmosphere. The simulation recreates the planet Earth with a cross-section showing the different layers, and you can click on each one in order to obtain an enlarged view.
