SecuriFire vs newREACT®

SecuriFire Scan simplifies the installation and commissioning of a SecuriFire fire alarm system. The data matrix code of the loop devices can be scanned and the corresponding element numbers – such as detection zone, detector number, input and output – assigned directly. This information can be transmitted to SecuriFire Studio and thus simplifies the allocation of logic to the physical installation. The data from the components on your fire alarm control panel can be recorded faster than ever before: • Faster installation and commissioning of a SecuriFire fire alarm control panel • Rapid recording of components, including element number • Reduction of errors thanks to on-site input • Independent of the order of the scanned components • Multiple projects can be managed • Simple transmission of the recorded data via standard functions on the mobile device This application is based on the ZXing Barcode Scanner open source project. The completely redesigned newREACT® (new enhanced worldwide REmote ACcess Tool) is the successor to the REmote ACcess Tool remote access system, which has been available since 2018. The newREACT® system can only monitor fire alarm control panels that are connected to the newREACT® server. This means that the two apps are not compatible with each other, but perform similar tasks, namely remote access to fire alarm control panels. Due to the enormous success of the existing REmote ACcess Tool remote access system and the large number of connected systems, it became necessary to fundamentally redesign the system in order to increase performance and improve scalability. Currently, both apps have comparable functions, but new functions are being developed exclusively for the newREACT® system in order to completely replace the REmote ACcess Tool in a few years.
