ADVGuide brings the stories behind the Backcountry Discovery Route along for the ride. Designed for adventure motorcyclists, ADVGuide provides location-aware audio tours that follow BDR and BDR-X routes. As you ride, the app automatically plays stories, history, local lore, and practical information tied to the places you are passing. There is no schedule to follow and no need to stop and search for information along the way. Download your tour before the ride, and ADVGuide can continue working when cellular service disappears. As you travel the route, ADVGuide recognizes your location and plays relevant audio at the appropriate points. The experience is built around the actual BDR route, helping you better understand the landscapes, communities, people, and events connected to the ride. Tours are available as individual in-app purchases. Once downloaded, the tour content is stored on your device for offline use. ADVGuide is designed to complement the official BDR tracks and your preferred navigation system. It does not replace maps, GPS navigation, current route information, or good judgment.
