Flashside is the flashcard app that plans your learning for you. Make cards for anything — vocabulary, kanji, anatomy, exam questions — and spaced repetition brings each one back at the moment you are about to forget it: after minutes while it is new, then days, then weeks. A few focused minutes a day beat hours of cramming. YOUR PLAN FROM ONE NUMBER Tell Flashside the minutes you have a day and, if you have one, the exam date. It sets the pace, says plainly whether the date is within reach, and every grade button shows when the card will come back. Free for everyone. EXAM PREPARATION • Exam mode: in the last weeks before the date, the deck is drilled until it holds • Quizzes from your own cards, written by hand or generated by AI; the result keeps your answer beside the right one • A memory chart for every collection: how much you would recall today, the last 30 days, and where it goes if you stop • Start a collection over for the next exam without losing its history PERSONALISED LEARNING AI A coach that plans your days, fixes the cards you keep failing and quizzes you before the exam — it never answers for you. • New words come back after a few minutes, and the pause adapts to how well they stick for you • Card doctor: when a card will not stick, it suggests better ways to write it. You pick the fix, or none • A coach card every Monday with what to change this week, and why you missed a card you were sure of • Reminders that move to the hour you actually study Remembering stays your job, because that is the part that makes you learn. EVERYTHING ON YOUR DEVICE Your cards, collections and progress live on your phone. Study on a plane, in the subway, off the grid — no account, no connection, no waiting. Sign in with one tap when you want sync, sharing or the web app at flashside.app, never before. CARDS THE WAY YOU THINK • Rich text, colours, images and audio on both sides, read aloud on request • Flip the direction, shuffle, hold the card to take back an answer • Import ready-made decks from CSV or Excel, paste a list with your own separators, or photograph a page (Plus) • Share whole collections with classmates and friends • Search every card and study from the one you found EARN IT Every session ends on a reward screen: your score, last time's, your streak, and now and then a badge sweeping in. Dozens of badges are hiding in Flashside — for showing up, flawless sessions, mastered collections and a few things you will have to discover. MAKE IT YOURS • Five colour themes, each in light and dark • Clean, fast, distraction-free design • Available in 18 languages LEARNING STAYS FREE Writing and studying cards, the plan, the memory chart, exam mode, syncing and sharing are free, and your cards always belong to you. Flashside Plus is an optional subscription for extras that cost us money to run: natural read-aloud voices, translation, quizzes, the card doctor, importing from a picture and the coach's explanations. Each one is clearly marked, and nothing is charged without your consent. Whether you are learning a language, prepping for med school, collecting kanji or just tired of forgetting names — start with one card today. Your future self will thank you at review time. OneMoreCard
Read full descriptionHide full description
OneMoreCard is a flashcard app for people who want to learn with structure. Organize your knowledge in nested folders, choose between four study algorithms, write cards by hand with Apple Pencil on iPad, and track your progress in clear statistics — all synced across your devices with iCloud. The starting point. Most flashcard apps treat you either like a child who needs points and trophies to stay engaged, or like an engineer who should be happy digging through endless settings. OneMoreCard takes your learning seriously without making it harder than it needs to be. Order that thinks with you. Create folders, nest them into subfolders, and spread your decks exactly the way your curriculum, your degree, or your project actually works. Every folder shows you, at a glance, how many cards are due and how far you've come — with a progress ring right on the tile. Four algorithms, one truth. Some people learn best in a fixed order. Others need randomness so nothing becomes predictable. Others swear by the Leitner system, or by spaced repetition that brings a card back right when you're about to forget it. OneMoreCard doesn't force one method on you — you choose, per deck, what fits how you think, with a plain-language explanation built right into the picker. A card style like your own notebook. Lined paper with a red margin. Squared paper for formulas and diagrams. Dotted paper for anyone who prefers to sketch freely. Or simply blank. OneMoreCard recreates real paper formats — adjustable per card, with its own alignment and bullet points. And if one style really clicks, Settings lets you make it your app icon on the Home Screen — light, dark, or matching the system. Images where words fall short. Anatomy, art history, vocabulary tied to a place or a face — add images to the front and back of any card, exactly where they actually help you learn. Written by hand. On iPad with Apple Pencil (iPadOS 27), write straight onto the card, on the deck's own lined, squared or dotted paper, with pencil, fountain pen, pen, marker or watercolor. Squeeze Apple Pencil Pro to turn the card over. OneMoreCard reads your handwriting right on your device, so you can search it and VoiceOver can read it aloud. Tape over part of your writing to hide it until you peel it off while studying, or answer a card in your own hand and let OneMoreCard check it and suggest a rating. Handwritten cards sync to iPhone, where you study them exactly as you wrote them. Progress you can actually see. No points system, no artificial streak pressuring you forward. Instead, a statistics section that answers the question every learner asks: is this actually working? Cards studied today, your current streak, cards due, cards mastered per deck — plus a 30-day history that makes progress visible instead of just felt. One library. Every device. Your entire structure — folders, decks, cards, statistics — syncs via iCloud between iPhone and iPad. On iPad, OneMoreCard even opens into its own wider layout with a persistent sidebar, instead of just stretching a phone app across a bigger screen. Right on your Home Screen. See what's due today, your current streak, and every study session you've paused — right from your Home Screen, without opening the app. Tap through and pick up exactly where you left off. Grows with you. OneMoreCard starts free, with up to 50 cards. Anyone who needs more can unlock unlimited cards with a single in-app purchase — along with the ability to share complete folders, decks, and cards with friends, classmates, or colleagues.
