Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: C Programming at 5.0 against Learn to Code's 4.6. C Programming also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Learn to Code's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Learn to Code sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and C Programming sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
C Programming holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn to Code has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Learn to Code ships an update every 6 weeks, C Programming every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
