Verdict
WebDebug and Hodor both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Hodor's written reviews are positive against 10% of WebDebug's. Hodor also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. WebDebug sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Hodor sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
WebDebug holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of WebDebug's written reviews are positive against 73% of Hodor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WebDebug ships an update every 2 months, Hodor every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
