Verdict
Cabela's and Harbor Freight Tools both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Harbor Freight Tools's written reviews are positive against 49% of Cabela's's. Harbor Freight Tools also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and chart position (#85 vs unranked). Cabela's's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Cabela's against 4.8 for Harbor Freight Tools.
