Mindahome vs Mates Map

This app gives registered Mindahome members access to the website with all its functions and features. It also enables the user to be immediately informed of new messages they receive from other members as well as any Mindahome system notifications. In addition, house sitters will receive immediate notifications of new house sitting positions when they are submitted by home owners in accordance with any search they save on the 'House sitting positions' list page.

I created this app while backpacking through South America. I kept meeting fascinating people from fascinating corners of the world and found I ended up with a chaotic combination of Whatsapp numbers and instagram accounts saved in my contacts with names like "John Ireland - met in Santiago". This app aims to fix this situation, laying out all of your contacts on a map so that when you eventually visit your friends home country you can reach out for tips or a beer. Easily and quickly save their phone number and Instagram details online or offline wherever you happen to be in the world. It also lets you easily share all of your info offline using a QR code to avoid the awkward notes app full of random instagram names. All contact data is stored securely in the cloud so that if your phone is lost, stolen, or dropped in a lake at least you won't lose your friends too. Please don't hesitate to leave a review if you've got ideas, suggestions, or problems with Mates Map - I'm more than happy to look into things. Happy Travels! Chris
