Mahjong Jussei brings solo Riichi-inspired play and focused mahjong practice together. Play a short game, work through five daily questions, or explore a hand of your own. CLASSIC TSUMO Keep 13 tiles, draw one, and choose a discard. Continue until you complete a winning hand or reach 30 turns. Pick a difficulty and resume your saved game later. This is a guided single-player mode with difficulty-weighted draws, not a complete four-player Riichi match. Scores are game points, not tournament payments. Free players can start one new Classic Tsumo game each local day. The allowance is used on the first discard or an opening win; resuming the same game does not use another. The rules tutorial is always free. DAILY PRACTICE Daily Radar Run selects five questions from the built-in training library. Get feedback on your first answers, continue an unfinished run, and build a completion streak. Practice tile efficiency, yaku awareness, and defense basics. YOUR HAND, YOUR CHOICE In My Hand Challenge, confirm 14 tiles, choose your discard, and then reveal the comparison. Analysis compares shanten and effective tiles using a simplified closed-hand efficiency model. It does not evaluate the full table situation, opponents, scoring, or expected value, and it does not guarantee a winning move. Enter tiles manually or try photo-assisted entry. Photo recognition is a beta input aid: check and correct all 14 tiles before analysis. Free and Pro use the same recognition model. Saved reviews and learning progress stay on your device. OPTIONAL PRO SUBSCRIPTION Pro includes unlimited Classic Tsumo games, 50 hand analyses per day, all 60 training drills, and 50 saved reviews. Free access includes 5 hand analyses per day and 3 saved reviews. Analysis and My Hand Challenge share the daily analysis allowance. Existing saved reviews remain readable without an active subscription. Purchases in the separate TsumoDragon app do not unlock Jussei Pro. Monthly Pro renews every month; Yearly Pro renews every year. Apple's localized prices and any eligible introductory offer, including its duration and renewal price, are shown before purchase. Charges follow the plan and offer confirmed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal may be charged within the final 24 hours. Manage or cancel in Apple ID settings, and use Restore purchases to restore active access. For learning and entertainment only. No betting, real-money play, or tournament assistance. Verdict
Quick Mental Math and Mahjong Jussei are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
