About

Unload

Features

Running a home takes more than just doing the chores. It takes remembering, planning, noticing, and asking - the invisible work that rarely gets shared evenly and almost never gets talked about. Unload is a shared home for that work. Two people, one board, and an honest picture of who is actually carrying what. WHAT YOU GET A shared task board Add anything that lives in your head - appointments, admin, the thing you keep meaning to book. Tasks are weighted by mental load, not just by time, so "book the dentist" counts for what it really costs. Weekly balance, in plain sight See how the week actually split between the two of you. No scorekeeping and no blame - just the picture, so the conversation starts from something real. The State of the Union A weekly check-in grounded in the Gottman method. Twenty minutes, once a week, to look at the load together, appreciate each other, and plan something that isn't a chore. Bids for connection A daily love-maps question, so you keep learning about the person you live with. Points, swaps and little gestures Earn points for what you clear. Hand a task over when you're stretched thin. Cash in for something lovely, chosen from your partner's own list of what they love. Built for two Everything syncs between both of you. It works offline too - add and tick things off anywhere, and it catches up when you're back. WHY IT WORKS Fair doesn't mean fifty-fifty. It means both people can see the load and agree on it. Unload gives you that visibility, and a weekly ritual to keep it honest. SUBSCRIPTION Unload is free for 14 days, with no card required. After that it's a subscription, monthly or yearly, and one subscription covers your whole home - both partners get everything.
