About

HourLane

Features

HourLane logs your working hours and turns them into totals, a pay estimate and timesheets ready to send. No account, no ads: nothing leaves your phone unless you decide so. LOG IN TWO TAPS • "Add a time slot" adds your typical day in one tap. • Start now / Stop to clock in to the minute, with rounding if you want it. • Night shifts: an end before the start simply ends the next day. • Agenda by day, 3 days, week, fortnight, month or list, with an hour-by-hour view for the day, 3 days and week. • An evening reminder, if you want one, so you never forget your day. ONE SCHEDULE PER ACTIVITY • Each schedule has its colour, its pay and its own settings: typical day, currency, first day of the week, hours in hundredths, hidden amounts, export header. • You decide whether its events count as working hours, and you can leave out or count any single entry. • Projects for one schedule or shared by all. SYNCED WITH YOUR CALENDAR, IF YOU WANT • Link a schedule to a calendar of the phone: what you log in HourLane shows up there, what you add in the calendar comes into HourLane. • Nothing is deleted without asking you: an event erased from the calendar is shown to you first. • No pay amount is ever written in a calendar. • Or keep a schedule in the app only. SHARE YOUR SCHEDULE • Link a schedule to an online calendar of the phone and share it: the people you invite see your hours live in their own calendar, never your pay. • The app opens the right sharing page and prepares the message. PROJECTS, CLIENTS AND HELP WITH INVOICING • A project and a client for each entry, each with its own rate. • Amounts to bill at the hourly rate or as a flat amount, extras or discounts, tracked as to bill, billed or paid: what you need to prepare your invoices. HourLane is not invoicing software. • Expenses and mileage attached to the entry. TIMESHEETS AND PAY • Week, month, year or any dates, for the schedule you choose; totals by project and by client, year by day or by month. • Export to PDF, CSV, XLSX, or a summary in a message. • Hourly or salaried pay, overtime tiers (paid, banked or both), night premium, bonuses, net estimate from one of your payslips. • Amounts are estimates; your payslip is the reference. YOUR DATA IS YOURS • No account, no ads, no tracking. • A dated copy every week in the folder of your choice (cloud, phone), daily local copies, 30-day trash. SUBSCRIPTION • Monthly or yearly subscription. Without a subscription, your data stays readable and exportable. Payment is charged to your App Store account when the purchase is confirmed. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless automatic renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that end. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings after the purchase. Terms of use: https://www.hourlane.app/eula Privacy policy: https://www.hourlane.app/privacy
