Txikipedia 8-13 urte bitarteko umeentzako euskal entziklopedia bat da, adin-tarte horretako umeentzako moduko lexiko eta sintaxiarekin egina; horregatik, euskara garbi eta errazean idatzita egotea da gure helburua, umeen eskola-beharretara moldatua, baina ulergarritasunari garrantzi handia emanez. Txikipediaren oinarrian, Vikidia izeneko online wikientziklopedia d**o, euskaraz 2015ean hasi zena, eta beste hainbat hizkuntzatan ere funtzionatzen duena, hemen aipatutako helburuekin.
