You're in class trying to listen and write everything down at once. It never really works. Appunti does the boring part for you. Hit record, actually pay attention to the lecture, and when you're done you've got a clean transcript and ready-to-use study material waiting. It all happens right on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device intelligence. Your recordings never leave your device — they stay yours. RECORD AND FORGET Start recording and follow along. The app handles the rest, even with your phone in your pocket. AUTOMATIC TRANSCRIPTION Stop the recording and your words become text. Search it, copy it, fix it if you need to. ACTUALLY STUDY From every recording the AI pulls out: • a clear summary • the key points • action items • chapters to jump to the right moment in the audio • flashcards to revise before the exam SEARCH YOUR LECTURES Can't remember where the professor mentioned that one thing? Type a word and find it — even inside the audio. ASK THE AI Stuck on something? Ask the AI in the lecture's chat. It answers with what the professor actually said and points you to the exact minute. It can also quiz you, make new flashcards or improve the summary. STUDY OUT LOUD WITH SIRI Say "Quiz me with Appunti" and Siri asks you a question from the lecture's flashcards. Or "Read the summary in Appunti", "Read the key points in Appunti", "Read the questions in Appunti" — revise hands-free, even on your way to class. Every action is also in the Shortcuts app. FIND ANYTHING WITH SPOTLIGHT Lecture titles and chapters are one iPhone search away; on Mac, every word said in class or written in your PDFs too. Tap the result and you're in the right lecture. STUDY IN YOUR LANGUAGE Lecture in another language? Translate the summary, key points, chapters, flashcards and transcript into yours, right on your device. PRIVACY, FOR REAL Processing happens on your device. Only if you choose to, the chat uses Apple's Private Cloud Compute, built so that no one, not even Apple, can see your data. No data collected, no ads, no tracking. Turn on iCloud and everything stays in your own private space, synced across your devices. Made for people who study: university lectures, tutoring, meetings, quick ideas. Note: the AI features require an Apple Intelligence–capable iPhone and iOS 26.
