From page one to the final word, we believe the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus. This diverse collection of ancient books overflows with wisdom for our modern world. As we let the biblical story speak for itself, we believe the message of Jesus will transform individuals and entire communities. Many people have misunderstood the Bible as a collection of inspirational quotes or a divine instruction manual dropped from Heaven. Most of us gravitate toward sections we enjoy while avoiding parts that are confusing or even disturbing. Our Bible resources help people experience the Bible in a way that is approachable, engaging, and transformative. We do this by showcasing the literary art of the Scriptures and tracing biblical themes from beginning to end. Rather than taking the stance of a specific tradition or denomination, we create materials to elevate the Bible for all people and draw our eyes to its unified message.

Bible in Context is a free, offline-first Bible study app. Five public-domain translations are bundled in the app, so you can read with no internet: • Berean Standard Bible (BSB) — modern and easy to read. This is the default. • World English Bible (WEB) • King James Version (KJV) • American Standard Version (ASV) • Young's Literal Translation (YLT) The verse of the day is shown in the translation you are reading. A reminder at noon brings that verse while the app is closed. Press Listen to hear a chapter, or a single verse, in your phone's voice. Search finds John 3:16, a whole verse, or a sentence even when a few words are wrong. Every verse opens into a context view. Tap any verse to see: • Cross-references — passages that quote, echo, or sit beside this one (Treasury of Scripture Knowledge) • Greek or Hebrew with Strong's lexicon — tap any word for its meaning, its grammar, and other verses that use it • A plain-English line for what the verse is saying • Verse type and the context of the passage • Study notes from Tyndale, Jamieson-Fausset-Brown, and Matthew Henry, written out in today's English • A short summary of the chapter Personal study tools: • Highlight verses in six colors • Save notes. They are private unless you choose to share one. • Bookmark up to five verses • A prayer journal that marks prayers as answered Community: • Follow other readers.
