Icey Software
Read full descriptionHide full description
Icey is snow and ice management software for snow removal and de-icing contractors. Dispatch storms from one board, give your crews an app that records GPS, time and photos at every site, and send quotes your clients sign online. DOCUMENT EVERY VISIT β’ Crews tap Start and Complete at each site. Icey records the times and where the phone was. β’ Photos taken in the app are stamped with the time and the GPS position. β’ Log the salt or de-icer put down at each site: the product and the amount. β’ Tap and talk to add a voice note to the job. β’ No signal? Starts, finishes, photos and material logs are saved on the phone and sync when the signal comes back. A SITE REPORT FOR EVERY VISIT β’ Each completed visit becomes a site report with the time it was completed and the photos. β’ You choose when clients get them: send a report with a tap, or switch on a once-a-day email. β’ Salt amounts, crew notes and crew names stay in your own records, ready if an insurer or a lawyer asks. DISPATCH FROM ONE BOARD β’ Start a storm, put a crew on each route and see how far along every route is. β’ Priority sites go first, and you can optimize a route's stop order. β’ See your crews on the live map while routes are running. β’ When a route starts, the crew's phones get a loud storm call-out alert. They answer "I'm on it" or "Can't make it", and you see the answer. β’ Switch on a "Notify me" alert for when the forecast crosses your snowfall trigger. FIELD MODE FOR CREWS β’ Tonight's route, every stop in order. β’ One tap opens directions in the phone's maps app. β’ Every job has a message thread between the crew and the office. β’ Most crew members see just two tabs: Field and Profile. THE OFFICE ON YOUR PHONE β’ Home: the forecast, crews out, sites serviced today, quotes waiting and what needs you. β’ Clients and sites: each client's sites, quotes and follow-up tasks in one place. β’ Quotes: per-event rate cards or seasonal contracts. Put the salt in the price or on its own line, however you price your work. Clients review and sign online from the email. β’ Follow-ups for quotes still waiting for a signature. β’ Set your company up from the phone: add clients and sites, import them from a spreadsheet, and invite your crew. ON A COMPUTER TOO Sign in with the same account in a web browser for the full office, including invoice drafts built from the visits your crews logged. GOOD TO KNOW β’ You need an Icey account. Owners can create a company in the app; crew members join when their company invites them. β’ Field Mode uses your location while you work. With location set to "Always", a visit keeps recording with the phone locked. Continued use of GPS in the background can reduce battery life.
