HOW IT WORKS The app is easy to use: Aim your smartphone camera at an empty space on the floor at least 2 meters away. As you aim, move your camera to scan the floor. A white circle appears. As soon as it is completely white, touch it. This way you can position the magician like a hologram. WHAT IT’S ABOUT Simon Pierro is best known as the iPad magician. His performance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show made him a world-wide (internet?) phenomenon. How would you like a private magic show in your living room, home office or on your patio? Yup, that is possible, thanks to this unique AR App: In cooperation with the university HSD Dusseldorf led by Prof. Dr. Geiger, Simon's digital magic was caught on camera inside a 360° greenscreen studio and later mapped out by room tracking devices that incorporated it into a fascinating app. Check out a video about the development here: https://youtu.be/G9c4UCFl5L8 Also, below is a link to see an entire virtual magic performance in Times Square, on the Maldives or on top of Table Mountain in Cape Town: Virtual Shows Around The World! -> LINK WHAT IS AUGMENTED REALITY? Augmented reality, or AR in short, is technology that lets you place virtual images, three-dimensional animations and additional information in real environments, blending the real world with virtual elements. Use your tablet or smartphone (iOS 12.0. or later) to bring the virtual performer into any space you choose.
Sleight
Read full descriptionHide full description
Sleight is close-up magic for iPhone and Apple Watch: seven tricks that happen right in your spectator's hands. Sleight looks like an everyday app, so nobody suspects a thing, and the first time you open it, it shows you how to reach your tricks. SEVEN TRICKS • Doodle: scribble a "prediction" and ask them to name a number. Your scribble turns into their number, in handwriting, right in front of them. • Nine Cards: they touch one of nine cards while your back is turned. You name it anyway. Playing cards, ESP symbols, colours, emoji or words. • Calculator: everyone adds a number of their choice on an ordinary-looking calculator. The total is your prediction, even today's date. • Out of the Screen: photograph any object, and Sleight lifts it off the background, traces its outline and sizes it to the real thing. A coin, a playing card or your own keys slide across the screen, even over your own Home Screen, then leave the glass and land in your hand. • Mind Sketch: they draw anything, then wipe the page clean. You draw it too. • Telekinesis: a real compass on their phone finds north. Then the needle turns to follow your hand. • Lie Detector: a fingertip on the camera reads their live pulse, or they wear your Apple Watch. Ask your questions and watch the verdicts land. MADE FOR PERFORMING Every trick comes with an animated walkthrough and step-by-step instructions. Your tricks stay out of sight whenever you leave the app, and you can switch to a plain app icon. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Everything runs on your iPhone and Apple Watch, and nothing is sent to us. Camera, microphone and heart-rate readings are used live and never stored. On Apple Watch, the Lie Detector reads heart rate through HealthKit only while the trick runs, and nothing is saved to the Health app. WHAT YOU NEED iPhone with iOS 26. Doodle (numbers up to 32), Calculator, Out of the Screen and Nine Cards work on iPhone alone. Mind Sketch and Telekinesis need an Apple Watch with watchOS 26, the Lie Detector needs an Apple Watch or AirPods, and Doodle's numbers up to 99 need an Apple Watch. Doodle numbers 1–4 are free. Unlock tricks one at a time, or get All Tricks, which includes tricks added in future updates. Sleight is for entertainment. Its pulse readings and "lie detection" are part of a magic trick, not medical or scientific measurements.
