Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Sutudu.TV at weekly against Horror Sci's every 18 months. Sutudu.TV also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). Horror Sci's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Horror Sci sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Sutudu.TV sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Horror Sci against 5.0 for Sutudu.TV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sutudu.TV has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Horror Sci ships an update every 18 months, Sutudu.TV weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
