Mora is a no-buy and no-spend challenge app. Pick a challenge, check in each day and watch your no-buy days add up. When you want something anyway, you don't have to say no on the spot. You pause it and decide later. There's no bank connection and no budget to set up, and buying the thing is always a valid outcome. ______ CHALLENGES Choose a reset week, a no-spend month, a low-buy month, a no-fashion season or a no-buy year. Each challenge shows its rule before you start, and you can stop any time. Food, household refills, bills and gifts for other people never count as purchases. Check in once a day with how it felt, from no pull at all to a day you bought something. Every day goes in the grid like any other. If you forget one, a rest day covers it. ______ MINDFUL PAUSE For the moment the pull arrives. Start a ten-minute pause and breathe with the circle, four seconds in and four seconds out. It keeps running when you lock your phone. If the pull is still there at the end, you can give it a longer pause. ______ DECISIONS Log the thing you want with its price, where you saw it and a private note about what's pulling you in. Then set a pause for as long as you choose, from a day to several months. When the pause ends, Mora asks what you decided: skipped, purchased, or found an alternative. Every answer is a fine one. ______ MORA SHIELD A lot of wants begin in a feed. Mora Shield shows a full-screen pause before Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest opens, so there's a beat between the reflex and the scroll. "Open anyway" is always available, and Shield never touches shops, checkouts or payments. ______ CLARITY See what you kept during your challenge and since you started Mora. Only decisions where you skipped the item or found an alternative count towards the total, so the number stays honest. Clarity also shows how each weekday feels, so you can see which days are hardest, and where your wants come from, by category and by source. It might be Instagram, a marketing email or an evening of just browsing. ______ WIDGETS AND LIVE ACTIVITY New widgets let you check in from your Home Screen, keep your challenge in view or start a mindful pause in one tap. The mindful pause runs as a Live Activity, so the countdown stays on your Lock Screen. ______ Mora is for anyone doing a no-buy year, a no-spend month, a low-buy or a shopping detox, and for anyone tired of impulse buys they no longer want two weeks later. I'm Julie. I worked in ad tech before building Mora on my own, so I know how carefully the urge to buy is engineered. I build apps made by women, for women, and Mora is the first.
