Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Parametric Cut DXF at 5.0 against CADraw's 2.9. CADraw's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. CADraw sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.39 per month and Parametric Cut DXF sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Parametric Cut DXF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CADraw has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
CADraw ships an update fortnightly, Parametric Cut DXF every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
