Proofmode is a system that enables authentication and verification of multimedia content, particularly captured on a smartphone, from point of capture at the source to viewing by a recipient. It utilizes enhanced sensor-driven metadata, hardware fingerprinting, cryptographic signing, and third-party notaries to enable a pseudonymous, decentralized approach to the need for chain-of-custody and “proof” by both activists and everyday people alike. ProofMode is currently available as specifications, developer libraries and applications. We seek to expand its support for notarization and sharing of proof through decentralized storage technology. We believe in a future, where every camera will have a “Proof Mode” that can be enabled and every viewer an ability to trust what they are seeing. ProofMode supports the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authentication (C2PA) standard, Content Credentials and the Content Authenticity Initiative.

What Genuine App does is simple: Genuine is a camera app designed to snap photos and capture videos of the world Once you take an image, that's it! Editing, filtering, or manipulating the content is not possible. You can post the media within the app's feed or share it on any platform you choose. We’re taking "authentic" media to the extreme. With our app, all images and videos are verified legitimate using advanced cryptography (in other words, secure software). A Genuine image accurately represents the world. Why is this important? Because when you share Genuine content on any platform (like Twitter/X, Instagram, messages, etc.), the image or video is certified as real.
