Welcome to Mathemusic, a pioneering educational application designed by Prof. Dr. Evren Bilge Kutlay. Mathemusic bridges the gap between the beautiful worlds of Mathematics and Music, offering children and learners of all ages an innovative way to discover the hidden geometric and mathematical structures behind music. Forget traditional, memorization-based music lessons. Mathemusic introduces a highly visual, interactive, and intuitive learning experience. Through carefully designed educational modules, users can visualize sound, play with ratios, and explore the mathematical order that makes music beautiful. KEY FEATURES & LEARNING MODULES: • Module 0: Basics – Get started with the fundamental concepts of sound, pitches, and simple mathematical models. • Module 1: Notes & Fractions – Understand note values and rhythmic patterns through interactive visual fraction blocks. • Module 1 PRO: Advanced Rhythm – Deepen your understanding of time signatures and complex polyrhythms. • Module 2: The Pitch Grid – Visualize pitches on a coordinate grid system and explore the geometry of scales. • Module 3: Harmonic Ratios – Discover the mathematical ratios behind intervals and chords (Pythagorean tuning). • Module 4: Fibonacci & Golden Ratio – Experience the beauty of the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio on a virtual keyboard model. • Module 5: Advanced Labs – Enter the avant-garde laboratory to compose using the 12-Tone Matrix (Schoenberg) and explore symmetry graphs. • Module 6 to 9: Stochastic Models & Beyond – Dive into advanced concepts where mathematics, probability, coding patterns, and physics meet musical architecture. WHO IS IT FOR? • Students & Young Learners: Develop mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and musical ear simultaneously. • Music & Math Educators: Enhance your lessons with interactive, visual, and cross-disciplinary STEM/STEAM tools. • Creative Minds: Explore the deep, beautiful connection between sound, geometry, cryptography, and numbers.
