GOBUJI is a free daily check-in app for people who live alone and those who care about them. One tap a day. That's all it takes to let your loved ones know you're well. HOW IT WORKS: Open the app each day, rate your mood from 1 to 10, and tap record. It takes 5 seconds. You can add a short note too. ANGELS: Invite someone you trust to be your "angel." Angels can see your check-in status and mood calendar, giving them peace of mind without needing to call every day. If you miss check-ins, your angels get notified. WHO IS GOBUJI FOR?: - Families across distance -- Your parent lives alone, maybe in another country. Different time zones make it hard to call regularly. GOBUJI lets you know they're okay with a simple check-in. - College kids far from home -- Starting a new life is exciting and overwhelming. Even checking in once a week lets your parents know you're okay. One tap is all it takes. - Still connected, even when life gets hectic -- You care about your friends and family but there's never enough time. GOBUJI lets them tell you they're well without needing a call. - Friends who care -- Sometimes a friend is going through a tough time. Being their angel is a quiet way to show you care. - Independence without isolation -- For those who live alone, checking in is a quiet way to stay connected without feeling like a burden. And if something's wrong, your angels will know. - Your personal mood journal -- Track your mood every day, add short notes like a diary, and see patterns over time. Just for you. FEATURES: - One-tap check-in with mood tracking (1-10) - Angel system for family and friends to watch over you - Mood calendar to track how you're feeling over time - Missed check-in alerts (configurable 1-7 days) - Optional notes with each check-in - Privacy controls: you decide what angels can see - 10 languages supported - No ads, no tracking, no social media - Free forever WHY AN AKITA?: Our mascot is inspired by Hachiko, the legendary Akita dog who waited faithfully at a train station every day for his owner. That same loyalty and devotion is what GOBUJI is about. Someone who watches over you, every single day, no matter what. Inspired by the Japanese word ご無事 (gobuji), meaning "safe and well." Built with love for everyone.
