About

TaikoTrainer

Features

Taiko Trainer brings precise rhythm practice, kuchi-shōga composition, conditioning, and meditation into one focused app. START FROM MITSUDOMOE HOME Open Practice, Creator or Viewer, and Prepare from three clear destinations. Browse the Store without leaving your current screen or interrupting practice. Prefer Quickview and the familiar tabs? Choose that layout in Settings. PRACTICE WITH PRECISION Choose a jiuchi, load a song, and train against one exact clock. Set the tempo up to 250 BPM, tap a beat tile to start there or choose two tiles to loop a passage, and navigate long arrangements with an interactive song map. Rotate Practice to landscape for a wider view, then return to portrait to reach navigation controls. Practice can keep the screen awake while it is visible and playing. Playback continues in the background with Now Playing and lock-screen controls. An optional Custom Metronome Live Activity adds tempo controls. CREATE KUCHI-SHŌGA With an active Creator subscription, compose songs with their own words and sentences. Use named phrases, repeats, grouped rhythms, dynamics, tempo changes, tags, and compact display names. Save unfinished compositions, define missing parts, and preview an entire arrangement or selected beats once every part is ready. Viewer keeps purchased and previously created songs readable when Creator is inactive. CONTROL PRACTICE FROM APPLE WATCH Start or stop jiuchi and song playback independently, adjust tempo with the Digital Crown, and follow a beat indicator derived from iPhone playback. Body and Mind timers show your session on the Watch, with a shared Stop action. Body adds countdown haptic cues before exercise transitions and completion. Audio and sessions remain on the paired iPhone. TRAIN THE WHOLE PRACTICE Run a guided two-minute circuit with precise 40-second Abs, Arms, and Legs intervals, spoken transitions, and countdowns. Choose an Apple Music playlist and Taiko Trainer automatically lowers the music for announcements. RECOVER WITH INTENTION Set a meditation duration, choose an optional playlist, and begin and finish with a soft ding. Music fades gradually before the closing silence. EXPAND YOUR LIBRARY The Store offers prepared practice songs, sold separately, and monthly or annual auto-renewing Creator subscriptions for composing and editing. No account is required. Your custom kuchi-shōga library stays on your device. FEEDBACK THAT CAN WAIT FOR A CONNECTION Save a problem report, idea, or general message even when offline. Taiko Trainer keeps it on your device and retries delivery while the app is open. View saved messages and recover paused deliveries from Feedback.
