Civics, finally made delightful. Created Equal Civics is the free, nonpartisan way to learn how your democracy actually works, through bite-sized lessons, fun quizzes, and a document simplifier that translates founding documents into modern English at any reading level. Whether you're brushing up for jury duty, helping a kid with homework, prepping for the citizenship test, or just want to understand the news, you'll find lessons that respect your time and don't talk down to you. WHAT'S INSIDE Bite-sized lessons Short, friendly lessons on the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the three branches, voting, civil rights, and more. Most take five minutes or less. Practice quizzes Test what you know with quick quizzes. Get instant feedback, build streaks, and learn from every wrong answer, without ever getting lost in old-fashioned language. Document Simplifier Paste any founding document, court opinion, or piece of civics text. Pick your reading level (kindergarten, middle school, high school, or scholar) and get a clear modern English version in seconds. Workshop Toolkit Free downloadable PDFs for facilitators: four restorative civic-dialogue modules and printable handouts on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
