Action Potentials vs Qubit Globe
Price, ratings, monetisation and update history for both apps, side by side — with what reviewers say about each.
Action Potentials
Explore the mechanics of action potentials in real-time. Adjust parameters and introduce various drugs to observe their impact on neuronal signaling. Choose between single event simulations or continuous manual current injections.
- Real-time action potential visualization
- Adjustable simulation parameters
- Drug effect simulation (lidocaine, tetrodotoxin, TEA)
- Single action potential mode
- Continuous manual current injection

In this app, you can see how action potentials work by watching the action potential as it happens and adjusting the parameters. You can add drugs such as lidocaine, tetrodotoxin, and TEA to observe the effects on the action potential. You have the option to see a single action potential with a preset current injection, or a continuous option where you can manually inject current to trigger an action potential.
Qubit Globe

Verdict
Action Potentials and Qubit Globe are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
