Sotaquômetro

Do you sound more American or British when you speak English? Sotaquômetro is the daily accent game that analyzes your English pronunciation and reveals — on a vintage-style gauge — which side of the Atlantic your accent leans toward. HOW IT WORKS Every day there's a new word — one of those classic US/UK pronunciation differences (tomato, schedule, garage, route...). Record yourself saying it, and an on-device machine learning model compares your speech against both pronunciation patterns, showing your result instantly as a percentage. HEAR BOTH ACCENTS Not sure how it's supposed to sound? Tap the US and UK buttons to hear reference pronunciations before you record — great for English learners, IELTS/TOEFL prep, or anyone curious about the accent difference. PLAY EVERY DAY One new word a day, the same for everyone. Complete a round of 12 words to reveal your "accent personality" — from "100% Texan" to "Official Subject of Her Majesty." SHARE YOUR RESULT Generate a shareable result card and send it to friends. Who in your group sounds the most British? PRIVACY FIRST Your recording never leaves your device — analysis runs fully on-device with Core ML, no server, no account, no login required. The only thing that can ever be sent is an optional, anonymous thumbs up/down rating to help improve accuracy. A NOTE ON LANGUAGE Sotaquômetro's interface is in Brazilian Portuguese — it's built for Portuguese speakers learning English. If you're an English speaker curious about your own accent, you're welcome to try it, but expect Portuguese buttons and labels throughout. Download Sotaquômetro and find out: are you more Yankee or more British?
